Super Lawyers is a respected and trusted organization that reviews, rates, and recognizes legal professionals not just in the United States but also in several other countries around the globe. It uses a patented multistep selection process that weighs numerous factors that indicate a lawyer’s dedication to outstanding and ethical practices. When an annual selection process is concluded, no more than 5% of all attorneys in a practice area and region will earn recognition.
Rising Stars uses a similar selection method to Super Lawyers, but can only be given to an attorney who is 40 years old or younger or who has been in practice for 10 years or less. The stricter requirements mean only up to 2.5% of attorneys will be named to this list each year.
