About
Joanna (Tulman) Ross joined Berkman Bottger Newman & Schein, LLP in 2021.
Her entire legal career has been devoted to the practice of matrimonial and family law. Ms. Ross has served clients in and out of Court throughout Southern New York including New York, Kings, Westchester, Putnam, Rockland and Dutchess Counties. Ms. Ross is experienced in all divorce processes including litigation, negotiation, mediation and collaborative law. Ms. Ross is cognizant of the emotional, financial and legal toll of the divorce process and seeks to compassionately guide her clients through the difficult hurdles. Ms. Ross was formally trained in Collaborative Law by the Collaborative Practice Training Institute. She proudly serves on the Membership Committee of the Westchester Women’s Bar Association.
Prior to joining Berkman Bottger Newman & Schein, LLP, Ms. Ross received her Juris Doctor from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. While attending Cardozo School of Law, Ms. Ross concentrated in Family and Children’s Law and earned her Certificate in Dispute Resolution. She also served as a Senior Editor on the nationally ranked Alternative Dispute Resolution Honor Society and was involved in the Divorce Mediation Clinic and Restorative Justice Prison Project. Joanna previously interned with a boutique matrimonial law firm and a preeminent defense litigation firm in Manhattan. Joanna also served as a Head Intern with the New York State Supreme Court Mediation Non-Jury Office.
