About
Andre Brittis-Tannenbaum is an associate attorney at the firm, practicing primarily in our New York City office.
Andre has practiced matrimonial law exclusively since law school. Previously practicing in both a highly regarded boutique matrimonial firm and a respected all-service firm, Andre has been involved in a wide spectrum of cases including but not limited to major financial matrimonial cases and complex custody disputes in New York. With this background, Andre is well equipped to represent clients in matters involving complex trust and estate structures, allegations of spousal and child abuse, allegations of substance abuse, and the valuation and distribution of large estates, including varied business assets, contemporary and modern artworks, and residential and commercial real estate.
Andre has handled all stages of litigation from settlement negotiations through trial and appeals and has appeared in Supreme and Family Court throughout New York State, including New York County, Westchester County, Queens County, and Rockland County.
In law school, Andre served as Managing Director of the Moot Court Honors Society. He also interned with the New York Legal Aid Society, assisting low-income New Yorkers in health-related litigation and obtaining healthcare benefits.
Coming from a family of physicians and seeing the benefits of good bedside manner, Andre values the opportunity to build strong bonds with his clients as he guides them through the high-stress of marital and custodial disputes.
Andre is a strong proponent of resolving divorce and related matters quickly and amicably to keep families out of the courtroom. If negotiations fail, he is fully prepared to litigate at every stage to secure the right result
