Samantha Cooper

Samantha joined Berkman Bottger Newman & Schein LLP in 2018. Her practice focuses on all areas of matrimonial and family law, including the negotiation and litigation of custody disputes, complex financial matters, post-judgment proceedings, and the drafting and negotiation of prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. She has experience handling matters through trial, bringing a strategic and practical approach to both litigation and settlement.

Samantha has been recognized as a 2025 Super Lawyers Rising Star, a Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch for 2026, and a Rising Star in the 2026 Doyle’s Guide rankings for Family, Matrimonial & Divorce Law in New York City.

She earned her B.A. from Tulane University and her J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
