Berkman Bottger Newman & Schein: Evan Schein is our new named partner

Evan Schein

We have some big news to share: Berkman Bottger Newman & Rodd, one of New York’s top family and matrimonial law firms, is now Berkman Bottger Newman & Schein. We are very pleased to announce that partner Evan Schein takes his place alongside managing partner Jacqueline Newman and founding partners Barry Berkman and Walter Bottger in our firm name. It is truly an honor well-deserved.

Evan joined our firm in 2010. Since that time, he has distinguished himself in the New York family law community as a skilled and dedicated litigator, and a shrewd negotiator. His high-profile cases have been covered by the New York Times, the New York Post, ESPN, Yahoo! News, the Los Angeles Times, and more. He has published his thoughts on legal trends and strategies in New York legal publications, and taught trial skills to other matrimonial lawyers both in New York and across the country. He has achieved the prestigious Avvo rating of 10, a perfect score, in recognition of his clients’ satisfaction, and he has been named a Martindale-Hubbell Client Champion. For five consecutive years, he was recognized by SuperLawyers as a Rising Star in New York family law. Evan was also recently named to the ”40 Under 40 Rising Stars of 2019” by the Westchester Business Council.

Evan is a true credit to our firm, and one of the toughest family law litigators in New York. We congratulate him and look forward to seeing his career and reputation grow in the years to come.
